How to manage expectations
Every arrangement is a one-of-a-kind design. No two arrangements are exactly the same. I take your preferences into consideration as I use my artistic license to create a work of art! Colors are subjective. “Royal Blue” in your eyes may be a completely different color in the balloon world. I will do my best to make the outcome predictable and offer my professional opinion. However, I reserve the right to make necessary changes during the creative process to ensure your balloons are perfection. On occasion, I may need to replace a balloon with a different style if the balloon has a manufacturing defect.
Where are you located?
My Balloon Obsession is a mobile balloonery. That means we do not have a storefront location. All orders are taken online. If you’d like to schedule a consultation or a site tour, please fill out our order form.
What are your hours?
We are available by appointment only. We have a $75 minimum for all orders and are open Monday through Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm
What is the best way to place an order?
Start by checking out our website. We have a complete menu of options and pricing tiers for your consideration. Once you found something you like, complete our order form. This is NOT an official order and do not consider it confirmed until you have heard back from me. I will reach out within 24-48 hours with an email or phone call to discuss your order.
For same day deliveries, please text, 970.331.2384 to check our availability. Rush order fee’s will apply.
Why can't I call to place my order?
I ask that you complete the inquiry form instead so that all of your event details are documented from the start and are stored in writing for future reference in our database.
What is the minimum order?
$75-$85 minimum order for locations in the Vail Valley + delivery and setup fees (if elected)
$200-$300 + for deliveries to Wolcott, Eagle and Gypsum plus delivery and setup fees (if elected)
$500 - $5,000 + for locations outside Eagle County and setup fees (if elected)
$300 minimum for indoor installations
$500 minimum for outdoor installations
There are exceptions. To discuss your order please fill out contact form and detail your budget.
How much does it cost for delivery?
Delivery fees are based on the nature of your order, location and access to venue. All fee’s are subject to change.
Fees for “everyday orders”
$15-$28 for small orders within close proximity to our workshop in Avon
$28-$45+ for standard deliveries within Vail Valley
30% of total order For large deliveries, multiple trips, and installations
Do you charge for setup?
Yes, we charge for setup. Balloons are typically delivered to the door and placed. If your project requires additional setup or assistance we will charge a fee starting at $75+. However, the final fee depends on scope of project, location, number of assistants required and setup time. We charge an hour rate per person for balloon assistants.
Do you offer clean up/strike services?
Yes, we are a full-service balloonery. We offer delivery, setup, breakdown and balloon removal. We charge a flat $250 if we have to return to pickup and or remove balloons. This is a flat fee for any instance. For liability purposes, many hotels and public venues require us to return. If you decline this service you are liable for all charges accrued due to clean up.
Do you provide a mockup?
We do not offer a mock up for “everyday” balloons. We charge a design fee of $25-$50 if you require a digital rendering of your order. The design fee is included in the proposal for large scale installations.
How and when do I pay?
Full payment is due prior to delivery or pickup. We accept credit card, Venmo and PayPal. In most cases, we will send an invoice to your email. You may submit payment online by opening the invoice. Once payment is processed, arrangements will begin, materials will be order and your project will be placed on our calendar.
Cancelation Policy
All sales are final. If you have special circumstances please request a copy of our cancelation policy or review your contract. See service agreement for more information
How long do balloons last?
I cannot guarantee your balloons will last at all once they have been delivered or picked up. Children, pets, tree branches, brick or textured walls, hot cars, and nails are just a few examples of things that can pop your helium balloons. The stability and longevity of your balloons are affected by direct sunlight, temperature, humidity, and guests touching them.
Air-filled balloons can last days, weeks and sometimes even months! Over time balloons will oxidize and the color and shine will be affected as the days go by.
Helium-filled balloons have a much shorter lifespan lasting only about 3-5 days.
Who is responsible for my balloons?
Once delivered, My Balloon Obsession is not held responsible for any balloons that are popped, stolen, lost, poked or let go of. If WE pop your balloon, it will be replaced at no charge or a refund will be issued if we're unable to get a replacement in time.
Do you travel?
Yes! We are open to traveling to Denver, Summit County, Pitkin County. We have a minimum order, not including delivery of $500-$1,000+ as well as travel fees.
