About the creator

Founded in 2017, My Balloon Obsession was conceived by LeeAnna Salazar, a graphic designer who inherited the family owned party and costume shop. During her time as a designer, LeeAnna focused her efforts on the non-profit sector, working for many notable national and local organizations. Graduating from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2004, her driving inspiration came from the great Austrian-American Designer, Victor Papenack, stating, “The only thing important in design is how it relates to people.”

This philophsy has carried on to her work as a balloon designer. LeeAnna believes that balloons are happiness visualized! They are the literal expression of joy and have the ability to bring out the child in everyone. As an artist, LeeAnna tells a story with her creations and takes the time to understand your needs, budget and vision.
